Unknown to the humans that live in Silverdale, their town has a population of both Vampires and Werewolves. Will some humans start to wise up to their supernatural neighbors or will the monsters in town be able to keep their true nature a secret? Is there enough room for everyone to live here or will their growing population start to put both humans and supernaturals at risk?
S U B P L O T S There have been increased sightings of wolf packs in the forests on the outskirts of town for the past 3 years and during hunting season the citizens are encouraged to hunt these new predators for the sake of safety of the town and to keep them from overpopulating and otherwise affecting the existing wildlife.
The Shadowridge and Bloodrose packs have been at odds since Bloodrose first came to town 3 years ago. They were unable to come to an agreement on how to live peacefully so they often have conflict with one another. This has led to what appears to be increased gang activity in Silverdale as they each fight for their territory.
The Elder of Laurel's Coven used to be part of Imperium but when differences came up in opinions on how to interact and live with humans she split off from Imperium to start her own coven. The new coven is more accepting of younger vampires and finding other ways to get blood besides drinking from humans.
It's an election year and two mayor candidates are currently in the running against one another.
The Supernatural Club at Silverdale Community College (SCC) has been making more noise lately as they try to bring in more members to join their cause. They are motivated in the reviewing, exploring, and proving or disproving supernatural suspicions related to the rumors that have filtered in through their town over the years.
